About Allie's Angels
Our Mission
- To ease the suffering of very sick children and their families by providing goods, services, and activities which will brighten their days.
- To inspire children and families to make a difference in the lives of others by providing opportunity and means for charitable work.
How Allie's Angels Began
Because Allie was such an inspiration to those who knew her, the Allie’s Angels Foundation was created in her memory in 2002. It was our hope that through this foundation, her incredible spirit would be carried forward to help seriously ill children, to inspire others to perform charitable works, and to support the effort to cure pediatric cancers.
OUR TEAM
Allie's Angels Board of Directors is made up of friends of Allie and her family, Allie's teachers, and Allie's siblings and friends.
We are beyond grateful for the generous involvement of local schools, businesses, clubs, and groups in helping us to achieve our goals.
About Our Logo
Allie loved to draw pictures of little girls with long eyelashes and long hair, always with a pretty bow. We took this beautiful self-portrait, and made it the centerpiece of the Allie’s Angels logo. Allie’s older sister, Megan, added a butterfly, wings and a halo, while Allie’s younger sister, Caroline, used her best handwriting to write ‘Angels’ next to Allie‘s signature. We dotted the ‘i’ with a heart created by Megan and Caroline together. We hope that when you look at our logo, you feel the innocence, hope, and love of a child.
