Kids Helping Kids

Allie had a tremendous impact on the children who knew and loved her. Her little friends wanted so much to be a part of her life, to ease her pain and brighten her days.

This amazing outpouring of love and compassion has inspired Allie’s Angels to involve children and families in its mission.

We believe that children have a unique way of offering unconditional love and encouragement to their less fortunate peers and, therefore, play a major role in our activities and events.

We hope that our efforts bring joy to those kids who are coping with very serious illnesses and also help open the eyes and hearts of all children to the endless rewards achieved through helping others.

Kid Power!

We are amazed at the ways children have come up with creative ideas for helping children in the hospital, often personalizing their contributions with encouraging messages and fun drawings.

Children who have participated in activities to help Allie's Angels have created special memories and feel so good about giving back.

What can Kids Do?

There are endless possibilities for children to be creative and find a way to help that is meaningful to them.

A few examples of children's wonderful contributions:

  • Assembling individual craft kits for kids who have to spend a lot of time in the hospital
  • Tying fleece blankets for hospitals to give to young patients so they feel cozy and loved
  • Making portable art sets to give to patients and their siblings
  • Raising money at school with a penny drive or dress-down day
  • Having lemonade stands to raise money
